Career Services Appointment
If a student misses an appointment with an employer or Alumnus (on campus) and the student did not call or e-mail in advance to cancel the appointment, the student will be required to meet with the Director or Associate Director AND write a note of apology to the employer or Alumnus. When needing to cancel an on-campus interview with an employer, it must be done by noon on the preceding day (when needing to cancel an on-campus interview with a Recruiter scheduled on a Monday, the notification must be received by noon on the Friday before). This is to allow those who are on the waiting list the possibility to get on the interview schedule.
Students missing appointments with the Director or the Associate Director are wasting not only the professionals' time, but the time of other students needing appointments, therefore, students needing to cancel their scheduled appointments are advised to call or e-mail so that others may be scheduled.
