Writing Rubric: A fairly extensive rubric used in a recent cross-institutional writing assessment of which Wittenberg was a part.  Feel free to use or adapt this document in any way that might be useful in your classes. (For questions on the rubric, write Mike Mattison, director of the Writing Program.)

Writer's Reference: An interactive web page that corresponds to the handbook that most Wittenberg students use in English 101.  This site is a good place to send students whom you identify as having a need for additional work in some specific area, and if you register yourself as an instructor on that page, you can receive updates on your students’ progress with these exercises. It’s a pretty useful and user-friendly tool for setting up some independent learning.
