The Dove Scholarship Fund was created by James T. Dove, M.D., Wittenberg class of 1961, and Richard A. Dove, J.D., class of 1980, to provide a one-half tuition scholarship to a pre-law student.  This scholarship can be combined with an existing financial aid package to provide up to full-tuition in scholarship funding.

The pre-law scholarship will be awarded in April 2009 to a rising junior or senior.  Scholarships will remain with the junior recipients for their senior year, as long as the recipients remain eligible.  Candidates for the Dove Scholarship must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25.

An application is included as an attachment to this e-mail and it must be completed and returned, with a completed essay, by April 3, 2009.  A faculty letter of recommendation must also be submitted by that date and finalists must complete an interview with the selection committee.
