Because distance makes a trip to Wittenberg impractical, I will submit a CD or tape. Mail your recorded audition no later than March 17, 2009. Rather than submitting this form online, print it and mail it with your recording.
Are you considering a music major? Music majors are eligible for highest music scholarships. (Note that you won’t actually need to declare a major until after enrolling at Wittenberg.) It is possible/likely that I will major in music. I will not major in music.
Music to be performed If you already know what you will perform at your audition, you may enter that information here (see requirements below):
Instrumentalists: Choose two compositions, movements, or etudes in contrasting style, including one that demonstrates technical proficiency. About ten minutes total duration. And be able to play major and minor scales (melodic or harmonic), up to four sharps and four flats, two or three octaves.
Singers: Choose two contrasting songs—one in English and, if possible, one in a foreign language. About ten minutes total duration.
