20 credit hours in the following core courses are required
All International Studies minors will complete 12 credits in the following core requirements:
Political Science 251S—International Relations
History 106C/H—The Modern World
Geography 101S—Cultural Geography
Economics 110—Economic Issues; or Economics 190S—Principles of Economics (Track 2)
8 credits from only one of the five tracks: Diplomacy, Economics, Global Issues and Cultures, African Diaspora Studies, or Peace Corps Preparation Studies
8 credit hours in a Foreign Language beyond the 112 level.
One class must be at the 300-level. Only one class in the minor may be taken for the Pass/Fail grade option.
Minors are strongly encouraged to complete a significant academic experience abroad. Coursework completed abroad can be applied to the minor.
