Lambda Pi Eta Welcomes New Members!
On Tuesday, November 9th, Lambda Pi Eta welcomed seven new members to the Communication Honorary which extends membership to Communication majors who excel in the classroom and on campus, as well as students who have expressed a commitment to the field of Communication.
The evening included the ceremonial induction of the new members overseen by present chapter officers, a welcome from the faculty advisor, Dr. Katie Warber, and an enjoyable speech from Brenda Duncan, Wittenberg's Vice-President of Advancement.
Duncan encouraged new and old Lambda Pi Eta members with her enlightening speech as well as Question and Answer Portion. Regarding Duncan's presentation, newly inducted member Emily Willis '10 says, "I enjoyed sitting with Brenda Duncan and hearing her story and advice about her experiences as a Communication major and how that has played out in her life."
Lambda Pi Eta also wishes to extend special thank-you's to Laura Harrison for the wonderful program and Dr. Sheryl Cunningham and Mr. Ken Irwin for their participation at the event.
