With approximately 70,000 residents and a beauty that has earned the areas trees recognition among the "best in the nation," Springfield boasts many "hands-on" learning experiences as well as shopping, restaurants, cinemas, parks, a reservoir, and a performing arts center that brings world-class entertainment to town, as well as Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House and Heritage Center Museum. A special presentation of True West by Springfield Stageworks is also slated for Sept. 6.

Three major Ohio cities -- Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton -- are not far from town. Dayton and I-75 are located just 20 minutes west, Columbus is an hour drive to the east with interstate connections throughout the midwest and east, and Cincinnati is 90 minutes to the southwest.
